During the respiratory illness season, the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District provides weekly reports on the “big three” respiratory illnesses—COVID-19, influenza, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV). These reports draw on both laboratory data and emergency department visits, offering context for respiratory virus surveillance, particularly when COVID-19, seasonal influenza, and RSV are circulating at the same time.
