Emergency Preparedness

Several local agencies help to prepare for and coordinate responses to natural disasters and disease outbreaks.

Champaign County Emergency Preparedness inlcudes local information about being prepared for an emergency. At the Stock 2 for Flu is a campaign for home preparedness. The primary responsibility of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) is to better prepare the State of Illinois for natural, manmade or technological disasters, hazards, or acts of terrorism.
