Food Testing Laboratories

Time/Temperature Control for Safety (TCS)

Is your food item a TCS food or not? To have food products tested (at the expense of the food operator), contact an accredited laboratory. The types of test(s) needed depends on the food products you plan to sell. The laboratories listed are provided as a convenience, not an endorsement. You may use any accredited laboratory.

The laboratory must use AOAC methods of analysis.

1. Water activity (aw)
2. Range of acidity (pH)
3. Interaction between aw & pH

Accredited Midwest Laboratories

After product testing, submit laboratory test results to CUPHD/CCPHD for evaluation and approval of products.
